Arctic Game Week 2020 is canceled due to Covid-19

Due to the virus spread of Covid-19 around the world, Arctic Game Week will be canceled in 2020. The situation affect both Arctic Game Week and Nordsken so both have decided to cancel the events in 2020.

Arctic Game Conference, Fantastic Conference, White Reindeer Award and Nordsken are all a part of Arctic Game Week.

For Arctic Game Lab, this week is one of the most important events of the year. A meeting spot where the entire gaming industry, both players and companies, is given the opportunity to meet, make new connections, do business and spread knowledge. It is also the occasion when the international gaming industry, publishers and investors visit northern Sweden.

Since the decision is completely unanimous and in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities, we will look ahead instead.

- We have chosen not to feel overwhelmed by this decision, but to look forward instead! The gaming industry needs meeting places, and Arctic Game Week has become one of the most important gaming events for Northern Europe. We have therefore already started to work on Arctic Game Week 2021, says Johan Linder, project manager for Arctic Game Week.

Despite the cancellation of Arctic Game Week, the "White Reindeer Award" will be held this year, but the gala dinner will be canceled.

Tickets sold for Arctic Game Week will be refunded. All byers will be contacted.
